Maple Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Chewy, Sweet, and full of a crisp apple flavor, these cinnamon rolls are sure to please vegans, and non-vegans alike!

Ingredients:
Premade Cinnamon Roll Batter(Risen)*
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 peeled chopped apples**
2 tablespoons coconut oil (separated)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Method:
1. Roll out the cinnamon roll dough so that it is a rectangle like shape, but it is okay if the edges are about rounded.
2. Spread 1 tablespoon of coconut oil onto the dough.
3. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add 1
tablespoon of coconut oil, and the apples.
4. Fry the apples in the saucepan for about 1 minute, and then add the maple syrup.
5. Continue to fry the apples for about another minute, and then set aside to cool.
6. In a small dish combine the brown sugar and the cinnamon.
7. Add the brown sugar cinnamon mixture onto the cinnamon roll dough.
8. Place the fried apples on top of the brown sugar cinnamon mixture.
9. Roll up the cinnamon roll dough it is shaped as one uniform log.
10. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces, and place into a deep cake pan or a deep 9 by 9 pan.
11. Grease the pan with coconut oil so that it is completely covered, and then place the cinnamon rolls in, with about a quarter inch of space in between each one.
12. The baking time for the cinnamon rolls will depend on the base recipe you chose for your cinnamon roll dough, so follow the baking directions according to the cinnamon roll recipe
you choose.
Recipe Notes
*Most cinnamon roll recipes should work for this, however, I would advise against gluten-free cinnamon roll dough just to be safe. I used a cinnamon roll recipe from all recipes, that I will link here:

**Pink lady or Granny Smith Apples work best for this recipe, but feel free to use any apple you like
